Discover Chris’s journey from a multiple sclerosis diagnosis to becoming a certified sound healing practitioner in the peaceful nature of Sardinia.
Since I was a child, sound has always been a part of my life.
Before I understood its deeper meaning, I felt its power. I taught myself to play percussion, guitar, and the Native American flute, guided by a curiosity that went beyond music itself. For me, sound was never only about creating melodies. It was a way of expressing something deeper a connection between myself, nature, and the invisible world around us.
Years later, during my travels through India and Nepal in 2013, I began to experience a different relationship with life. Immersing myself in ancient traditions, meditation, and spiritual practices opened a door within me. I discovered that healing was not something separate from everyday life, but something connected to how we breathe, how we listen, and how present we are.
After that journey, I dedicated time to meditation, including Vipassana practice, and chose to live closer to nature. I spent periods living and working in permaculture communities in Portugal, Thailand, and New Zealand, learning from simple living, sustainable practices, and the wisdom that comes from reconnecting with the natural world.
But sometimes life guides us through unexpected paths.
During the COVID period, while living in the Netherlands, I found myself feeling disconnected. I was working in hospitality, a career that no longer felt aligned with who I was becoming. Then came a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis a moment that completely changed my perspective on life.
What initially felt like a challenge became an invitation to slow down, look within, and listen more deeply.
I began spending hours in meditation, studying healing traditions, exploring consciousness, and reconnecting with the instrument that had always been beside me: sound.
Then I discovered sound healing.
Immediately, something felt familiar. It was as if all the different parts of my journey had finally come together: music, meditation, nature, spirituality, and my desire to support others.
I began my studies with the Sound Healing Academy, becoming a certified Integral Sound Healing Practitioner, with a focus on personalised one-to-one sessions. Through sound healing, I discovered a beautiful way to help people relax, reconnect with themselves, and create space for inner transformation.
This journey also brought me back to my roots in Sardinia.
Sardinia is a place with a unique connection to nature, ancient traditions, and a slower rhythm of life. Known as one of the world’s Blue Zones, it carries a sense of harmony that can be felt in its landscapes, its people, and its traditions.
Here, surrounded by nature, Resonance Experience was born.
More than a place for sound healing sessions, Resonance Experience is a sanctuary a space where people can step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with themselves through sound, nature, and mindful practices.
My vision is to continue growing this space into a place of transformation: where people can come to rest, reflect, heal, and experience the profound connection that exists between vibration, consciousness, and life itself.
Sound is not just something we hear.
It is something we feel.
And sometimes, the right vibration can remind us of who we truly are.
